The Städel Museum, located right along the bank of the Main, is one of the most important museums in Germany. It is very easy to get around Frankfurt by train or bus. Train tickets and bus tickets are available for purchase throughout the city at numerous locations. Bus tickets are also available for purchase last minute on the bus. Traveling by cab can be very efficient, however, many of the cab drivers are not fluent in English. The weather in Frankfurt is generally quite moderate and nice. The best times of the year to travel to Frankfurt are April, May, September, and October. The weather is great without the crowds of the summer.
